Chandigarh, June 11
Punjab State Subordinate Services Selection Board has announced the result of examination to fill 166 vacancies of Upvaid and sent their recommendations to the state government. It was informed by Chairman of Punjab State Subordinate Services Selection Board Raman Behal after meeting of Board members.
Mr. Behal disclosed that Ayurveda Department of Punjab Government has called applications to fill 85 vacancies in 2012 and 81 vacancies in 2015 but the process had been stalled due to various Court Cases. Now, on the interim orders of the High Court and under the flagship program of Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, the Board has announced the results and recommendations have been made to the department. He said that these recruitments would be made purely based on merit basis as the Board has canceled the interview conducted under the previous regime and now the recruitment is carried out solely on a merit basis.
Mr. Behal apprised that we will strictly follow the Captain Amarinder Singh govt’s policy of transparency, fairness and Ghar-Ghar Rozgar Policy in upcoming recruitments with the help of modern surveillance tools like Jammer, Biometric and Videography and all the recruitments will be made entirely on merit. He also advised candidates of various recruitment examinations to hard work so that eligible and genuine candidates will have a fair chance to get govt job and lighten up their future.
During the meeting, Shamshad Ali, Amarjit Singh Walia, Alta Ahluwalia, Rahul Singh Sidhu, and Board Secretary Amandeep Singh Bansal were also present.
