Punjab Government declares holidays in Anganwadi Centres from June 1 to June 30 due to summer: Dr. Baljit Kaur

Punjab government has declared summer vacation from June 1 to June 30 in all Anganwadi Centres due to heat in the state.

Divulging in this regard, Minister of Social Security, Women and Child Development of Punjab, Dr. Baljit Kaur said that holidays have been made from June 1 to June 30 in all the Anganwadi Centres of the state to protect small children from the heat. All Anganwadi Centres in Punjab will open on 1st July 2023.

In addition to providing pre-school education to the children coming to the Anganwadi centres, the Anganwadi workers have been instructed to provide take home ration and other services to the beneficiaries in a good manner in line with the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
