Punjab govt announces financial aid for Covid affected families

Chandigarh, January 6:

In order to provide the financial relief to the COVID-19 affected families of the state, Punjab Government has asked such families to submit their applications to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office of their district concerned at the earliest.

Giving this information here today, an official spokesperson of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department said that financial relief of Rs.50,000/- is being provided to the legal heirs of the victims of COVID-19 pandemic. The affected families should submit their applications (representations) to the DC Office of their district to get the monetary assistance.
