Punjab govt seeks applications for free coaching entrance test P.O. (Bank) & A.A.O. (LIC/GIC) exam-2023

The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is dedicated to providing employment opportunities to the state’s youth. As part of these efforts, the Punjab Government has invited applications from graduate youth for free coaching for the Probationary Officer (Bank) and Assistant Administrative Officer (LIC/GIC) Examination-2023.

Dr. Baljit Kaur, the Minister for Social Justice, Empowerment, and Minorities, provided this information, stating that applicants should be permanent residents of Punjab. They can belong to Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, and Minority Communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, and Jains). The minimum educational qualification for eligibility is graduation, and the annual income of the candidate’s family from all sources should not exceed Rs. 3 lakhs per annum.

The Cabinet Minister mentioned that candidates will be selected based on an objective-type test covering General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Current Events, among others. This test will take place at Ambedkar Institute of Careers And Courses, Phase-3-B-2, SAS Nagar Mohali on June 07 at 10:00 am. The duration of the test will be one hour.

She further stated that candidates who wish to avail themselves of the Entrance Test Free Coaching Course for P.O. (Bank) and A.A.O. (LIC/GIC)-Examination-2023 can apply. They should submit their complete applications along with self-attested copies of all necessary certificates to the Principal, Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Courses, Phase-3B-2, SAS Nagar (Mohali), by May 24, 2023, or earlier. Comprehensive information regarding admission can also be obtained from the institute’s website, www.welfarepunjab.gov.in.
