Punjab govt will release Rs 258.75 lakh for construction of Gaushalas sheds: Sachin Sharma

The Punjab Government would release Rs. 258.75 lakh for the construction of sheds in 425 Gaushalas of the state. It was disclosed by Chairman, Punjab Gau Sewa Commission Sachin Sharma here today. He said that this amount would be given to the NGOs registered with the Punjab Gau Sewa Commission who were running cowsheds in the Gaushalas.

Mr. Sharma said that registered NGOs should contact the Director Animal Husbandry, Punjab to get this amount. He said that Punjab government was working diligently to serve the destitute. He also appealed to the people involved in the work of Gau Sewa to increase their participation in the service.
