Punjab has lost a Stalwart & a Statesman: Jaiveer Shergill

New Delhi, April 25

BJP National Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill has expressed grief over the demise of political stalwart, five-time Punjab Chief Minister and a veteran political figure, Sardar Parkash Singh Badal. “I pray to the almighty for the peace of the departed soul and grant patience to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss”, he said in his condolence message. While expressing sorrow to the family members of Sardar Badal, including his son and former Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal, Shergill said, “I am extremely saddened to hear about the passing away of Sardar Badal. Today, Punjab has lost a stalwart, who contributed immensely towards development and well being of Punjab. Badal Saab’s contribution will never be forgotten”.
