Punjab Health Director Bereaved

S. Kuldip Singh Kabarwal, father of Dr. Gurinder Bir Singh, Director, Health and Family Welfare, Punjab, breathed his last at Mohali. He was 85 and had recovered from Covid in January. He retired as Assistant Director from Languages Department, Punjab, He was double MA and a renowned literary person and contributed towards the glossaries published by Languages Department, translated several English classics into Punjabi and had authored one story collection and three novels in Punjabi. He is survived by two sons and a daughter, other son is Professor of Computer Science in Public College, Samana and daughter is a Dental Surgeon. The cremation would be held tomorrow at Cremation ground, Balongi, Mohali. However due to COVID 19 norms, the family has requested all the near and dear ones and friends to not visit the cremation ground, and pray for the departed soul from their homes only.
