Punjab Health Minister suspends five officials for helping six persons to get govt job with forged documents

Taking action against five erring officials/employees in the matter of forging documents for getting government jobs on compassionate grounds in Tarn Taran district, Punjab Health Minister Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu today issued the order to suspend them with immediate effect.

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the health department said that after the probe it has come out that six persons have given the government job on compassionate grounds with forged documents in Tarn Taran district. They have been dismissed from services. Besides this, SMO Dr. Naveen Khungar, Senior Assistant of Civil Surgeon’s Office, Tarn Taran Hardwinder Singh (temporarily posted at CHC Mianwind), Senior Assistant Ravinderpal Singh, Superintendent Daljit Singh and Senior Assistant Jaswinder Singh have been suspended.

The spokesperson further said that the department has also issued order to take action against Dr. Anup Kumar (Retired), then Civil Surgeon, Tarn Taran, for dereliction of duty and the instructions have also been issued to the Director, Health Services to get registered criminal cases against these erring official/ employees.
