Chandigarh, December 27: Punjab Education Minister O.P. Soni on Wednesday warned that officers and principals will be held fully accountable for the poor performance of students in examinations.
Presiding over a meeting with the District Education Officers (DEOs), Soni said that DEOs should regularly check schools and punctuality among the teachers and other staff to ensure better results.
He further said that the examination centre should be set up keeping in mind that students do not have to travel more than three kilometer from their home.
