Chandigarh, February 10:
The Punjab Government has declared a paid holiday in the state on February 20, 2022 (Sunday) on account of voting for the State Legislative Assembly.
An official spokesperson of the state government said that the date of polling i.e. 20-02-2022 shall be a paid holiday in respect of all persons employed in any business, trade, industrial undertaking or any other establishment situated in the state of Punjab and entitled to vote in the election to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha-2022 on this day. A notification for the same has been issued by the Personnel Department.
