Punjab SC commission takes suo-moto notice regarding Moga incident

CHANDIGARH, March 22:

The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission today took a suo-moto notice regarding abduction and murder of two sisters in Moga district and sought action taken report from Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Moga.

Terming the incident shocking, Chairperson of the Commission, Ms. Tejinder Kaur said that the matter comes to her notice through media reports. The Commission has directed SSP Moga to file challan in the concerned court and submit action taken report before Commission through concerned Deputy Superintendent of Police by April 7, 2021.
