Chandigarh, December 17:
In order to ensure quality education across the State, the School Education department today advertised 12772 posts of different cadres as part of the ongoing process to recruit 20166 teachers.
Disclosing this in a press communiqué, the School Education Minister Pargat Singh said that the posts advertised today include 4185 of Master cadre pertaining to different subjects, 250 of Art & Craft, 343 related to various disciplines in the Lecturer cadre, 5994 of ETT and 2000 of PTIs in the Primary schools.
The Minister further divulged that during the past 4.5 years span, a total of 14534 teachers have been recruited which is a testimony to the wholehearted commitment of the State Government to provide an efficacious educational infrastructure.
