Punjab Sports University invites application for PG Diploma and Degree courses

Maharaja Bhupindera Singh Punjab Sports University, Patiala has initiated registration for admission in four more courses including PG Diploma and Master Degree Courses.

Informing this here today, Lieutenant General (Retd) J.S. Cheema, Vice Chancellor of the University said that complying with the direction of Sports Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi to channelize energy of youth in the constructive sports, registration of four specialized PG Diploma and Master Degree Courses for the academic year 2020-21, has started. He said that as per eligibility criteria for admission in PG Diploma in Yoga, PG Diploma in Health, Fitness & Wellness, PG Diploma in Sports Management and MSc (Yoga), graduation in any stream with minimum 50 percent marks for General Category and 45 percent marks for SC/ST/OBC and for candidates who have participated at International/National level prescribed as essential qualification.

The Vice Chancellor said that preference should be given to those desirable candidates who have obtained a 4/2 years degree in BPED, BPES, B.Sc. (Sports Science/Sports Nutrition and other Sports-related Courses), and those who have participated in any Sports Competition at the International/National/State/University/College level. He said that position holder candidates would be preferred for admission. Aspiring candidates can apply online on mbspsu.pgsgcpe.com for registration to these courses till August 21, 2020.
