Delegation of JAC of unaided colleges call on CM

Chandigarh, January 18: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh met a delegation of Joint Action Committee representing over 1600 unaided colleges at Punjab Bhawan on Friday afternoon.

The delegation, led by Chairman Ashwani Sekhri and spokesperson JAC Dr. Anshu Kataria, felicitated Captain Amarinder Singh for providing much needed relief to more than 3 lakh SC students by ensuring regular disbursal of Post Matric Scholarship. The delegation of unaided colleges also thanked the Chief Minister for his decision to allow scholarship to the students who could not avail it earlier for want of identification documents.
