Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker welcomed on his return to Punjab

Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Mr. Kultar Singh Sandhwan has returned to Punjab after a 25-days visit to Canada and has described the visit as a complete success.

After reaching here today, Mr. Sandhwan said that during his visit to Canada, he discussed different issues with various eminent personalities who promised to cooperate with Punjab. Mr. Sandhwan discussed education, culture, science, technology, agriculture and dairy issues with the Speaker of British Columbia Mr. Raj Chauhan and both the leaders emphasized on increasing mutual cooperation in various sectors. Mr. Sandhwan also discussed a variety of important issues with the former Prime Minister of British Columbia Mr. Ujal Dosanjh and during this both the leaders shared their experiences in the political field.

During his visit to Canada, Mr. Sandhwan addressed the Punjabi community at different places and appealed them to contribute for the development of Punjab. Mr. Sandhwan also shared memories of his college days with his classmates of Guru Nanak Engineering College, Bidar (Karnataka) and urged them to contribute for the development of Punjab. During visit to Canada, Mr. Sandhwan was warmly welcomed by Punjabis and prominent personalities of Canada at different places.

On reaching at Chandigarh, Mr. Sandhwan was warmly welcomed by Sukhjit Singh Dhillwan, Manpreet Singh Mani Dhaliwal, Mandeep Maunga, Jagtar Singh Brar, Sukhpal Kaur Dhillwan and the Vidhan Sabha staff. Earlier last evening Mr. Sandhawan was welcomed by Surinderpal and Ram Lok at Delhi Airport.
