Chandigarh, April 1: Finance Minister Manpreet Badal on Friday urged the Union Finance Ministry the us release the cash credit limit (CCL) worth Rs 20,900 crore for wheat procurement, which begins the usmorrow.

Manpreet, who held a meeting with Union Finance Secretary Ashok Lavasa in New Delhi, said the latter had promised the us get the CCL released by the usmorrow. Manpreet said the CCL issue had been taken up by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh with Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley last week.
