Artistes of Punjab Folk Centre from Gurdaspur recently got the audience in Tribal Museum matching steps with them during their vibrant performance. The energetic steps and lively music transported all gathered to the prosperous state of Punjab. The five dances Giddha, Luddi, Bhangra, Jindua and Ghoomar was reminiscent of kheton ki khusboo from the land of abundance.
Apart from the traditional Bhangra, Giddha and Luddi were a fresh treat to the audience. Performers also brought about a 300 year old story of Daaku Jatt Jeona Morh through their presentations. Popular singer from Patiala, Mohammad Irshad regaled the crowd with Punjabi sufi-folk songs brininging along hit numbers like Jugni, Fakiri, Main Kinu Dassa.
