Punjabi movie ‘Asees’ star cast visits Bathinda

Cast and crew members of an upcoming Punjabi movie, “Asees” visited Bathinda on Friday to promote the film. Neha Pawar, Pardeep Sran, Kuljinder Sidhu, Gurdas Sandhu and debutant director Rana Ranbir were part of the visiting team.

Ranbir, actor, director, producer and writer of the movie, said, “The movie will showcase different sides of emotional and aesthetic aspects of an ordinary person in today’s time. It is a complete package of social drama with which every person can correlate his or her life.”

“I have taken almost two years to come up with the final version of script. Besides, I have a strong belief that if a movie has a good and sound script it will definitely attract the audience and it will set the cash registers ringing at the box office,” he added.

“Unlike others we have given preference to the theatre artists, so that we would not find any difficulty during the shoot,” he said.

Lovepreet Singh, co-producer of the movie, said, “It is always a great experience working with the professional people of the industry. Besides, when I heard the script of the movie I immediately decided to be a part of this movie. I did not want to let go of this opportunity.”

Actress Neha Pawar said, “All I can say that in this movie people will witness the love bond of mother and son. I am very excited to see the response of the audience.”

“Our movie is coming on June 22 and hope this will definitely work as true blessing to Punjabi cinema,” she added.
