Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former Punjab Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal.
While recalling the services rendered by S. Badal, the Speaker in a condolence message said that S. Parkash Singh Badal played an important role in the Sikh and Punjab politics for a long time. His contribution in bestowing an important place to the Shiromani Akali Dal as a regional party and his leadership in ups and downs will be remembered forever.
Sharing his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family, the Speaker prayed to the Almighty to give them strength to bear this irreparable loss in this hour of grief and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
