Quality education on modern lines to be provided in Government schools: Meet Hayer

The Education Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer today visited Government Elementary school in Lallian Kalan as part of the strategy to visit various schools in order to get feedback from the field to transform the educational scenario.

The Minister took stock of the working of the functioning of the school and listened to the problems of both the teachers as well as the students. He said that children are the future of the country hence they would be provided ultra modern facilities. “The initiative would lead to the qualitative education to the students which would be in tune with the changing times thus enhancing their skills even further”, said Meet Hayer adding there would be zero tolerance towards negligence in the mission of ensuring uninterrupted academics besides timely availability of text books.

Divulging more, the Minister said that the schools of Punjab would be developed on Delhi pattern and the process to fill the vacant posts would commence shortly. A delegation of the Punjab Government would soon visit Delhi led by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, added Education Minister.

On the occasion, MLA Jai Krishan Rori was also present.
