Rajpura man wins one crore on Rs 100 ticket

Punjab State Dear 100 Monday Weekly Lottery transformed the life of a Rajpura man into a fairytale as he hit the jackpot thereby winning Rs 1 crore from a lottery ticket worth Rs 100.

The lucky guy Tinku Kumar, who works as a contractor, after submitting the ticket and required documents to the State Lotteries Department here for encashment of the prize money, said that he had been purchasing the lottery ticket for 15-16 years but the Luck has smiled on him finally. He is blessed with two school going children (a son and a daughter) and a wife.

Tinku (38) said that he wants to provide the best education for his children so he will spend the money over the education of his children and then he will think about expansion of his contract business. Punjab State Lotteries Department officials assured the winner that the prize money will be credited to his account soon.
