Rana Gurjit hands over promotional letters to 54 officials of Soil & Water Conservation and Technical Education Departments

Punjab Soil & Water Conservation, Technical Education & Industrial Training Minister Rana Gurjit Singh on Tuesday handed over promotional letters to 54 officers of both the Departments.

In a brief function held at Punjab Bhawan here, letters of promotions were handed over to 27 officers of Soil & Water Conservation and 27 officers of Technical Education and Industrial Training Department pertaining to various posts.

It is pertinent to mention that One Soil Conservator, three Sub-Divisional Soil Conservation Officers and 23 Soil Conservation Officers have been promoted, while eight officers of Technical Education and Industrial Training have got promotions as Head of Computer Engineering Wing, Ten officials have obtained the position of Head of Mechanical Engineering Wing and 9 officials have attained the promotion in Electrical Engineering Wing.

Sharing his warm words of greetings with these promotes, the Cabinet Minister Rana Gurjit Singh said that the promotion of every government official and employee should be made in time as it will enhance their enthusiasm. He told the promoted officers to discharge their responsibilities with more dedication and expressed hope that all the promoted officers would work for the betterment of the state and people.

During the function, Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education and Industrial Training Department Mr. Vikas Garg, Additional Secretary, Soil and Water Conservation Department Mr. Rahul Gupta, VC of PTU Jaspreet Gill, Chief Soil Conservator Punjab Mohinder Singh, Divisional Soil Conservator GS Dhillon, Additional Director Mohanveer Singh, Deputy Director Jaspal Singh and other senior officials were also present.
