Recruitment process for clerks, stenotypists to start soon: Raman Behl

Chandigarh, August 26: As per the demand received from various departments by the Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab, the recruitment process for the posts of Clerks, Stenotypists, Junior Coaches and Dairy Development Officers is being started soon.  This was disclosed by Mr. Raman Behl, Chairman, Punjab State Services Selection Board here today.

 Mr. Behl said that the recruitment process for the posts of Clerks, Stenotypists, Junior Coaches and Dairy Development Officers would be started within a maximum of 2 months after the completion of the written examinations for the posts published by the Board .

 He said that the Board has issued 15 advertisements for the recruitment of various posts, out of which written test has been conducted for many posts and written test for the remaining posts like Jail Warden and Jail Matron will start from 27-08-2021 to 29-8-2021.  The written examination of the second phase of post of Patwaris is being conducted on 05-09-21.

 Mr. Behl said that written examinations of Excise Inspector, Election Kanungo and Anganwadi Supervisor are yet to be conducted.  The written examinations for all these posts will be completed within two months. 

Counselling of eligible candidates is being conducted in the posts for which the written examination has been completed.  After counselling, the recommendations of the candidates will be forwarded to the concerned departments as per merit

 Mr. Behl also informed that all the information regarding the entire recruitment being done by the Board will be made available on the website of the Board www.sssb.punjab.gov.in, so the concerned candidates should keep checking the website of the Board from time to time.
