Date:

Fazilka, June 8: A 23-year-old youth killed his mother and sister after they refused to give him money on Wednesday night.

On Wednesday, when Manjit asked for money, the two refused. This infuriated Manjit, who then hit his sister with a spade and later killed his mother too. After locking the house from outside, Manjit fled.

When his brother Harjit Singh, who is a salesman, returned home at 9 pm, he was shocked to see his sister and mother lying in a pool of blood. Sources said Manjit was under stress. A case under Section 302 of the IPC has been registered.
