Sachin Sharma urges PM to set up sheds in forests for cows

Chandigarh, May 4:

Punjab State Gau Sewa Commission, Chairman Sachin Sharma has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and urged him to set up sheds in forest areas to take care of abandon cows.

Divulging more, Mr. Sharma said that abandon cows were roaming free on roads, which causes loss of life and property due to accidents besides cows were also got injured in such accidents.

He further said that as cows are a symbol of religious faith, it is our responsibility to protect and take care of them. Punjab Gau Sewa Commission is doing every possible effort for care and protection of cows in Punjab. He urged the Modi dispensation to make arrangements for the cows to live on forest land so that conducive environment and fodder could be provided to the cows.
