Panjab University alumnus and singer Satinder Sartaaj is working on a film story with a unique subject— a Punjab-Iran connect After experiencing acting, Sufi singer Satinder Sartaaj is exploring scriptwriting. Sartaaj, who is also the international ambassador of PU, is working on the storyline of a film which will show a bond between Punjab and Iran. Previously, he played the lead role in The Black Prince based on Maharaja Duleep Singh’s life.
Sartaaj confirmed the news and said that he’s working on the project and it will show things from a different perspective. According to the sources, Sartaaj started to work on the project and has carried out extensive research for it. “The subject is of his interest,” a source said, adding, “The film will be centered on Punjab and Iran. It will talk about the culture and languages of both regions, and compare the similarities, while keeping the common heritage as the prime base.”
