School education department directs to conduct parent-teacher meetings in connection with Punjab Achievement Survey

After conducting the Punjab Achievement Survey the Punjab school education department has directed to conduct parent-teacher meetings in all the schools from 26 to 28 November 2020.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the School Education Department said that the Punjab Achievement Survey (PAS) has been conducted under the direction of Education Minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla to evaluate the learning outcomes of students, studying in Fist to XII classes of government and government aided schools.

According to the spokesperson, now the teachers have been directed to meet the parents to share the performance of the students regarding the PAS. During these meetings the teachers have been asked to reach out to the children, their parents, Panchayat members and other dignitaries so that the education of the students can be further improved. The objective of this is to get good results in the annual examinations during the current session and to make the mission ‘100 percent’ successful. During these meetings the teachers have been directed to follow the instructions of Covid-19.
