School Education Department starts the process of filling up 585 posts of Principals, Head Masters and Block Primary Education Officers

The Punjab Government has started the process for filling up 585 posts of Principals, Head Masters/Head Mistress and Block Primary Education Officers under the revised rules.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Punjab school education department said that the recruitment process was started after the approval of the education minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla to further strengthen the school structure for imparting quality education to the students. These include 173 posts of Principals, 337 posts of Head Masters / Head Mistresses and 75 posts of Block Primary Education Officers. The department has now made some amendments in addition to implementing the new pay scale for recruitment. Therefore, the process has been started to make this recruitment under new amendments. According to the spokesperson, the last date for filling of online applications has been fixed on November 2, 2020 while the last date for depositing of fees will be November 9, 2020.

According to the spokesperson, the candidates who wish to withdraw their candidature due to amendments in recruitment can do so till November 2, 2020. In addition, candidates who had earlier filled their online application but did not deposit the required fee, can also deposit the fee through bank challans already printed. According to the spokesperson, the written test for the recruitment will be held in the first week of December 2020.
