Child actor Gurjot Kaur, who studies in class four of a school in Mohali, was honoured on Saturday by her school for showing great acting skills in Gurdas Maan-Kavita Kaushik starrer, Nankana. Kaur did a lead role as child artist in the film.
The principal of the school Ranjeet Bedi honoured the budding actress along with her mother in the school premises.
During the event it was revealed that movie’s production team auditioned more than 200 students at the school campus and out of all, Gurjot and another girl Prabhleen Kaur were selected for the movie.
Gurjot looked happy as she mentioned about her dream of meeting Gurdas Maan coming true. It was special as she’s seen her parents listening to his music since her birth.
