SEC appoints ROs and AROs for General Elections of Municipal Corporation/ Councils

SAS Nagar, December 16, 2020 : The State Election Commission(SEC) has appointed officers as Returning Officers(ROs) and Assistant Returning Officers(AROs) for holding the General Elections of Municipal Corporation, Municipal Councils / Nagar Panchayats 2021, informed District Electoral Officer Girish Dayalan .

The SDM, Mohali will be the RO for Municipal Corporation Ward No. 1 to 25 and Divisional Engineer Civil 2 GMADA will be the ARO for the same region. Director Public Instruction (DPI) School, Secondary Education to be RO for Municipal Corporation Ward No. 26 to 50 with Divisional Engineer (Civil), GMADA as ARO.

District Revenue Officer will be the RO for Municipal Council Banur and Naib Telasildar, Banur will be ARO. Similarly, for Municipal Council Nayagaon, Assistant Commissioner (G), Mohali will be the RO supported by Executive Engineer, Water Supply and Sanitation, Div. No.3, Mohali as ARO.

SDM Derabassi is the RO for Municipal Council Derabassi and Executive Engineer (B & R),Provincial Division, PWD Mohali the ARO while for Municipal Council Lalru, Estate Officer, (Housing) GMADA, SAS Nagar is the RO and Executive Engineer Water Supply and Sanitation., Division No. 2, Mohali, the ARO.

In Municipal Council Kurali, Assistant Commissioner(UT),SAS Nagar is the RO and Naib Tehsildar, Majri the ARO.

Besides, for Municipal Council Kharar, the SDM Kharar is the RO and Naib Tehsildar Kharar the ARO and for Municipal Council Zirakpur, the Estate Officer, (Plots) GMADA, SAS Nagar is the RO supported by Naib Tehsildar Agrarian, Mohali as ARO.
