Mr. Krishan Kumar, Secretary, Punjab School Education Department, while expressing satisfaction and happiness over the role being played by the teachers in creating awareness among the people during the Kovid-19 epidemic, directed the teachers to further expedite the campaign. At the same time, he has formed a buddy group to further accelerate corona awareness and improve education.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Punjab School Education Department said that the Education Secretary Mr. Krishan Kumar during an online video conference has appreciated the teachers for creating awareness against Corona under ‘Mission Fateh’, a Punjab Government’s campaign. He said that message of the Punjab government under ‘Mission Fateh’ is being spreading among students and their parents through videos and posters by the education department and logo of the mission has been installed on the websites of the education department. Parents of school children were also encouraged by the education department to download the cova app on their mobiles. Teachers and officials also launched a ‘pledge’ campaign to create awareness about the disease, under which people were made to pledge to follow government instructions to avoid the corona. School teachers and students have also created posters and sketches to raise awareness about the seriousness of the Corona epidemic. Now the education department is being distributing ‘Fattis’ to hang in cars and other vehicles under ‘Mission Fateh’ and these ‘Fattis’ are being distributed free of cost.
Encouraging the teachers in this endeavor, Mr. Krishan Kumar said that the best performing teachers had awarded and would be honored also in future. He said that all the problems of the teachers would be addressed on priority basis. Meanwhile, the Education Secretary formed buddy groups in different districts. The members of these group will share the work done in their districts with their counterparts in other districts and will bring the best practice to each other in their respective schools.
