Environmentalist Balbir Singh Seechewal invited to join Swachh drive

Jalandhar, September 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited environmentalist Balbir Singh Seechewal to be a part of the “Swachhta Hi Sewa” initiative started by the Union government ahead of Gandhi Jayanti this year.


The PM said, “Your exemplary contribution to the nation, especially in the field of water conservation and river revival, is well-known and appreciated. Your participation in the ‘Swchhta Hi Sewa’ movement can help build a Swachh Bharat where good health and hygiene reside.”
The PM further writes, “I personally invite you to lend your support to the ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ movement and dedicate some time for the cause of a Swachh Bharat.”
