Selection trials for All India Civil Services Badminton, table tennis and lawn tennis tournaments on September 9

Punjab government is conducting trials on September 9 to select state teams for the All India Civil Services Badminton, Table Tennis and Lawn Tennis Tournaments, scheduled for September 24, 2021 at New Delhi.

Divulging further, Director Sports Mr. D.P.S. Kharbanda informed that the Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board will organize the All India Civil Services Badminton Tournament (Men/Women) from September 24 to 30, 2021, while Table Tennis and Lawn Tennis Tournaments (Men/Women) would be started from September 24 to 29, 2021 at Thyagaraj Stadium, INA, New Delhi. He said that the sports department has decided to send state teams for these prestigious tournaments for which selection trials would be held on September 9, and Badminton Trial would be held at Sports Stadium, Sector-78, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) at 10:00 AM, while trials for Table Tennis and Lawn Tennis to be conducted at Polo Ground, Patiala at 10:00 AM.

Mr. Kharbanda further said that aspiring players-government employees (regulars) can participate in these trials after obtaining No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments to participate in these tournaments.
