Selfie points to cheer Tokyo Olympians

Punjab Sports and Youth Services Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi will inaugurate selfie points in all the districts on Wednesday to boost the morale of the Punjabi players participating in the 32nd Olympics in Tokyo, Japan and to paint the youngsters of the state in sports fervor.

Giving further information, Director Sports Mr. D.P.S. Kharbanda said that these selfie points in all the districts, which have been established to boost the confidence of the athletes of the state participating in the Olympics, are becoming a center of attraction for the youth. He said, total 20 players from the state are participating in the Olympics and Paralympics, and Punjabis have high hopes from them of winning medals.

Mr. Kharbanda said that a big LED screen has been installed at the sports stadium Mohali, which will continue till the culmination of these coveted games.
