Sidhwan Branch of Sirhind canal to remain closed till November 21

Sidhwan Branch of Sirhind canal will remain Close till November 21, 2022. Is was informed by an official spokesperson. He said that under rule 63 of Rules framed under the Northern India Canal and Drainage Act, 1873 (Act 8 of 1873) and keeping in view the weather conditions and crops, it is notified that Sidhwan Branch off-taking from Sirhind Canal will remain closed for 23 days from 30-10-2022 to 21-11-2022 (both dates/days included) to complete the work of construction of Bridge.
