Smart schools campaign – School education department decides to honor all the organizations and donors

Under the Smart School Policy launched by the Punjab School Education Minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla, the School Education Department has decided to honor all the institutions and donors who have contributed in making the smart schools.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Punjab school education department said that the school secretary Mr. Krishan Kumar has directed all the district education officers and school heads to prepare a complete list of all the institutions and donors who had contributed for the betterment of the schools so they could be honored for this noble cause. This list has been asked to be prepared and sent to the head office by September 15, 2020 in all cases.

According to the spokesperson, the village panchayats, various leaders, communities, donors, school management committees, NRIs and school staff have made invaluable contribution in this smart schools drive and they have been honored by the department from time to time. But so far all the dignitaries have not been honored. That is why the department has decided to prepare a complete list of donors and organizations so that all the individuals can be honored.
