Smith appreciates contribution of Sikh community towards province


Edmonton, March 6: Alberta Premier Danielle Smith today attended a meet-and-greet at the Millwoods Gurdwara in Edmonton.

Speaking to the people of the Sikh faith, the Premier said Alberta’s many faith communities add so much to the province, including our Sikh friends.

“I was honoured to visit the Millwoods Gurdwara in Edmonton and take part in fellowship activities,” she said.

Smith also lent a hand in preparing the hangar at the Gurdwara.

United Conservative Party’s MLA candidate from Edmonton-Mill Woods Raman Athwal was also present besides other part members.
