The Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) convoy is increasing day by day in Punjab with eminent personalities joining the party. The AAP family grew further on Thursday when social activists from Malerkotla and Samrala joined the party fold along with their associates. AAP’s senior leader and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Punjab Assembly, Harpal Singh Cheema and party’s state general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat inducted and welcomed the social workers at the party headquarters here.

On the occasion, Harpal Singh Cheema said that the people of Punjab are impressed by the development works and policies of Delhi’s Arvind Kejriwal government and want the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab too. Harchand Singh Barsat said that the people were fed up with the sand mafia, liquor mafia, transport mafia and cable mafia and wanted to get rid of this mafia rule; that is why they are joining the Aam Aadmi Party and the convoy of AAP is increasing day by day.

The people who joined the AAP include Haji Anwar Ahmed Chauhan, a prominent social activist and businessman from Malerkotla and Kamaljit Kaur from Samrala, who is a retired inspector from the Treasure Office.
