‘Sooraj’: Gippy Grewal’s latest track will tug at your heart strings

Date:

The much-awaited song ‘Sooraj’ by Gippy Grewal is finally out. Featuring Gippy with his son Shinda and YouTube sensation Navpreet Banga, the song is more like a complete feature film summarised into a track.

The song opens with Gippy’s monologue that exhibits him really angry and upset over something. As the story further unfolds, it shows how his beloved partner has cheated on him and has sacrificed her dignity, her family and the future of their only son in her act of treachery. The climax of the song is very gripping and is sure to leave the audience in aghast.

Written and composed by Jaani, the track has music by B Praak. Talking about individual performances of all the actors in the track, everyone seemed to have done complete justice to their respective characters.

Gippy as always has left no stone unturned to fit into the shoes of the character. Right from the shots where he is spending quality time with his family to the frames that capture him in agony, he is just effortless.

Coming to the debut of junior Grewal, Shinda has brought the right amount of innocence and cuteness to the whole plot. Last but not the least, Navpreet Banga does complete justice with her character and we would love to see more of her soon.
