Special Camp for distributing Artificial Limbs on Aug 18 at Malout

A special camp is being organized on August 18 at Edward Ganj, Malout for distribution of artificial limbs among disabled persons. The camp is being presided by Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur.

Divulging the detail, Cabinet Minister said that special camp is being organised with the support of Alimco to provide artificial limbs to disabled persons. In the first phase, assessment of disabled persons will be done and in the second phase artificial limbs will be distributed.

She said that prior to this camp, the registration of disabled persons is being done through Common Service Centres. She appealed to the disabled persons to get their registration done at CSCs to take advantage of camp. The registration of the disabled person will be done on the spot as well, she added.
