Chandigarh, November 21:
Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has decided to organize a special loan camp on December 3 on the occasion of Divyang Diwas to provide loans to disabled persons, fulfilling the long-standing demand of the disabled association.
Divulging in this regard, the Minister for Social Security, Women and Child Development, Dr. Baljit Kaur said that state government is considering the demands of the disabled people with compassion and is trying to solve them. Taking another step in the same direction, Punjab government has decided to organize a special loan camp on December 3 to give loans to the people of Punjab who have disability certificate 40 percent or more.
Dr. Baljit Kaur further said that the Disabled person, who wants to take a loan, should be a permanent citizen of the state of Punjab. He should submit his voter card, Aadhaar card, UDI Card; deposit guarantee etc documents can be submitted in the office of District Welfare Officer or SC Corporation.
She said that the Punjab government is making continuous efforts to make the disabled people of the state self-reliant. In order to make their lives possible, Punjab government is going to organize a loan camp at Sangrur, Malout, Mansa and Ludhiana on the occasion of Divyang Diwas on 3rd December 2022. In these loan camps, the disabled persons who fulfill the loan conditions will be provided loans.
