Sports kits distribution to youth clubs soon: Bindra

“Punjab Youth Development Board will initiate sports kits distribution to youth clubs soon.” It was disclosed by Chairperson of the Board Er. Sukhwinder Singh Bindra in a meeting held at District Administrative Complex Mohali.

Er. Bindra said that the purpose of this meeting was to find out active Youth clubs across the state and chalk out the plan to distribute sports kits to them. During the meeting Chairperson Er. Bindra met the youth clubs, Red Ribbon Clubs and NSS units of District SAS Nagar and apprised them about the schemes related to Youth by Government of Punjab and also answered their queries. He said that the Board and Sports Department under the guidance of Sports Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, working diligently to channelize the potential of youth in constructive way like Sports.

Chairperson also announced to visit all the districts of Punjab continuously in this regard and the first phase starts today from District SAS Nagar. Deputy Director Youth Services Department, Dr. Kamaljit Singh Sidhu and Assistant Director Mrs. Rupinder Kaur were also answered the various queries regarding their department.

Among others who were present in the meeting included Maninder Singh and Jagjit Singh-Program Officer (Senior Secondary School, Paragon), Baldeep Kaur Sandhu-Program Officer (Government Senior Secondary School, Gigemajra), Seema Malik-Nodal Officer (Shivalik Institute of Education and Research) and Manisha Mahajan-Nodal Officer (Government College, Mohali).
