‘Sukhbir has no right to seek action’

Date:

Shahkot, May 25: Punjab Congress chief Sunil Jakhar on Thursday said Sukhbir Badal did not have any moral right to demand the arrest of Chadha Sugar Mill owner since he did not allow the same parameter to work during the Orbit bus incident at Moga.

Hitting out at his Akali Dal counterpart during his visit to Shahkot for bypoll campaign, Jakhar said, “If the report points at negligence or collusion or a deliberate attempt because of fallen molasses prices, then whosoever is the culprit, could be the owner, should be arrested. The media as well as the common man has every right to demand so, but not Sukhbir Badal.”
