Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa assumes Charge as Deputy Chief Minister in presence of CM

Newly inducted Deputy Chief Minister S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa assumed charge in Chief Minister’s office (2nd Floor) at Punjab Civil Secretariat in the presence of Chief Minister S. Charanjit Singh Channi. On the occasion, he reiterated that the State Government would always be available for serving the people of Punjab in true sense and would also strive to bring governance to the doorsteps of all the sections of the society.

Expressing gratitude to the party high command for reposing faith in him, S. Randhawa assured that he would serve the people of the state and discharge all his responsibilities in a dedicated and diligent manner. He also said that the State Government would always stand by the farmers who are the driving force behind the economy of the State.

Among others present on the occasion included Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria, Manpreet Singh Badal, Sangat Singh Gilzian, Darshan Singh Brar, Barindermeet Singh Pahra, Kulbir Singh Zira, Pritam Singh Kotbhai, Parminder Singh Pinki, Kuldeep Singh Vaid, Navtej Singh Cheema, Davinder Singh Ghubaya, Madan Lal Jalalpur, Pirmal Singh and Jagdev Singh Kamalu besides his family members including Udayvir Singh Randhawa and Babbi Abul Khurana, President District Congress Committee (Amritsar Rural) Bhagwant Singh Sachar and supporters as well as well wishers.
