Chandigarh, September 15,
Planning Department, Punjab with support of UNDPs Sustainable Development Goals Coordination Centre (SDGCC) has announced the SDG Action Awards 2021. These awards are to be given for innovations in 5 sectors i.e. Government, Civil Society (NGOs), Academia, Media, and Industry (Corporate). It is for people who have carried out innovations towards achieving the SDG 2030 targets; to ensure sustainable development of the state.
Divulging the details, a spokesperson informed that Planning Department solicits nominations from innovators from the stated fields, latest by 18th September, 2021. The winners will be announced through an award ceremony to be held in Chandigarh.
