Pak-backed terror module busted in Punjab, 4 arrested with AK-47s

The Punjab Police has busted a terrorist module of the revived Khalistan Zindabad Force, backed by a Pakistan and Germany-based terror group that was conspiring to unleash a series of terrorist strikes in Punjab and/or adjoining states. A huge cache of arms, including 5 AK-47 rifles, pistols, satellite phones and hand grenades, were seized from their possession.

Licences of 18 private de-addiction centres suspended in Punjab

The licences of 18 private de-addiction centres in the state have been suspended with immediate effect, informed an official spokesman of Drug Administration Wing. Giving details, the spokesman said the samples of Buprenorphine and Naloxone collected from these centres were not found to be of standard quality.
