Time has come to bring a change in Gujarat by ending 27-year long rule of BJP: CM Bhagwant Mann

Date:

Chandigarh/Gujarat, October 30:

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday asserted that the time has now come to bring a change into Gujarat politics by ousting venal and tyrant BJP leaders from the Gujarat, which have pushed the state’s economy by decades due to its ill advised policies.

The Chief Minister, accompanied by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in Palitana and Dhoraji, categorically said that corrupt leaders will not be spared for plundering the money of Gujarat’s people and they will pay for their sins and dastardly rule after the AAP will form government with a landslide victory in the state assembly elections in December.

He said that the freedom has not reached our homes till now and it is only confined to the leaders those have vehicles with red beacons and who looted the country for decades. The AAP is fighting the battle to take freedom to the common people. The AAP will take freedom to the people’s homes in the true spirit.

In the past 75 years, all Prime Ministers have been repeating the same speech while expressing concern on rising poverty, unemployment rate and terrorism but they had not done anything to ameliorate the situation. There is a need to ask questions to these leaders now and teach a lesson by defeating them in the upcoming elections.

CM Mann said that its contest is not against Congress or BJP but AAP’s fight is against corruption, unemployment, rising inflation, paper leak and lack of basic amenities for people in the state

The Punjab CM said that Congress and BJP leaders have looted the money of country far more mercilessly than even what the Britishers had done. But now AAP will bring a change under revolutionary leadership of AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal by bringing development, new schools and giving top class health facilities to people.

The Chief Minister asked people to support AAP adding that even tree shed its leaves in every season. However, he said that it is surprising that people have not thrown out the BJP from last 27 years. Bhagwant Mann called upon people to support AAP for ushering in an era of peace, progress and prosperity in the state.

The Chief Minister said that at present the country is on the brink of political change and people are looking beyond traditional Congress and BJP parties. Earlier, there was no alternative to people but now they have a honest AAP party led by its supremo Arvind Kejriwal.

Hitting out at BJP, Mann said that they don’t make bogus claims and whatever AAP promises, they deliver to people unlike BJP which fooled people with 15 lakh jhumla and other poll promises. He said that AAP fulfilled all its elections promises in Punjab within 7 months after coming to power, which previous government had failed to do in 70 years. Corrupt leaders were lodged in jails.

He said that AAP is a party of the common people. Only the sons and daughters from humble backgrounds will go to the assembly and the Lok Sabha from AAP. It makes AAP different from other parties where only the sons and daughters of leaders become MLAs. Like in Punjab where out of 92 out MLAs, 82 MLAs are first time and they hail from a common background, AAP will give chance to common people in Gujarat and they will repeat the history of Punjab in this election.
