Chandigarh, June 1: The two NHAI toll booths on the four-laned Zirakpur-Patiala road at Azizpur village near Zirakpur and Dhareri Jatan in Patiala will become operational today.
The project has been executed by Centrodorstroy India Private Limited at a cost of Rs 600 crore. It was started in September 2015 and was to be completed in March last year. The four-laned highway will cut down the travel time between Chandigarh and Patiala by 30 minutes.
