Chandigarh, October 27:
Trials for selection of various state teams for Khelo India Youth Games will be held by Sports Department Punjab on October 30, 2021 at 11 am.
Disclosing this here today, Punjab Sports Minister Pargat Singh said that Khelo India Youth Games Under 18 (Boys and Girls) would be held in Haryana from 5th February to 14th February next year. The Trials for selection of Kabaddi (Boys and Girls), Football (Boys) and Basketball (Boys and Girls) teams for these games will be held at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana.
Similarly, Hockey (Boys and Girls) trials would be held at Jalandhar and Kho-Kho (Girls) Trials will at Polo Ground Patiala with Handball (Boys) Trials at PAU Ludhiana. All trials will take place on October 30 at 11 a.m.
The Sports Minister further said that the players participating in these trials should be born on or after 01-01-2003. Interested players can be part of the selection trials by arriving at the scheduled time and place.
