The police team shifted the occupants of the house to a safer place. The police retaliated with counter-fire and nabbed the gangsters.
Those arrested were identified as Balraj Singh, alias Buri, of Basant Kot village and Harman of Umarpura village in Majitha.
The SSP said the duo were facing many criminal cases. As per preliminary investigations, Harman was wanted by the police in a murder case that took place in Fatehgarh Churian.
